Welcome to the 2025-26 school year at Highlands Elementary School!

We are excited to continue building our strong HES community with our new schoolwide theme: Growing Together: Me, My Future, My Community. Inspired by the book Last Stop on Market Street by Matt de la Peña, this theme will guide our learning, relationships, and shared experiences throughout the year. Together, we will explore who we are, dream about who we can become, and discover how each of us contributes to helping our community grow.

As we grow together, we will also continue to model and live out our RAMS behaviors: being Respectful, Accountable, Motivated, and Safe. These core values help guide our actions, shape our school culture, and ensure that Highlands Elementary is a place where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
