Highlands Elementary School houses all of the first, second, third and fourth graders in the Highlands School District. Approximately 730 students attend our Building-Wide Title I Elementary School. In addition to classroom instruction, our school offers Art, Learning Support, GATE, Music, Band/Chorus for Grade 4, Physical Education, Library and Computers.
Visitors
For the safety and security of our students and staff, visitors to the building should ring the buzzer and identify themselves. Visitors MUST present a valid ID or driver's license to be permitted inside the school. There are no exceptions to this rule. Parents who need to speak with a teacher MUST pre-arrange a meeting as per Board Policy 907. Furthermore, school volunteers MUST have clearances in order to work with students or chaperone events or field trips.
